Thumbs down

I've been considering the Viper 5000, but I'd like feedback from others who have experience with 2-way alarms for the best choice. Also, if I get a pager alarm, does that mean I have to do away with my Active Anti-Theft, or can I have both? I really like the motion/hood/anti-tow sensors...

Check out Compustar. I have the 2w900fm-as in my 05. I think these are very nice alarm systems. Plus I have a 5 speed and Compustars are "designed" to work on manual transmissions for the remote start. It has a sequence you have to go thru in order to "set" the remote start. You only have to do the sequence if you have a manual though. Has a lot of nice features and good range.

I have a 2-way Viper, I think it is the 791. It works fine and the only problem I have is that I have to do a combination of three button presses to open the passenger door.

something was wired incorrectly then. I have one on my 05 and have personally installed 4 other 791 systems in 05 's without that issue.
