Hi,

Did anyone get the autodiming mirror with the homelink installed in their new Mustang. If so anybody have pics of it installed

Is this after the fact with ford? I don't recall this being an option.

I was thinking of having the dealer install it before I pick it up and wanted to know if others had it installed.

It opens garage doors. Gates, Etc instead of using the garage door opener. Most cars come with it now. It came standard in my 350z

I wouldn't pay much to have it installed, it is a very easy do-it-yourself job.

Just how easy is it to install yourself? Where does the power for the mirror come from?

This one doesn't just stick to the glass. It looks as though the wiring runs across the back top of the support arm - and I'm guessing it gets tucked under the headliner then runs down the inside of the 'A' piller to inside the dash somewhere. The wiring looks a little sloppy in the below pic, though I like the mirror itself:
