Audio tidbit
I got this from the Ford media site:
I have heard both the Mach 460 and the Shaker 500 and the Shaker is way better. It is less distorted when you turn it up and the subs in the door make a big difference.
While Ford designed and implemented the Shaker systems, it worked closely with Delphi, which supplied the radio head units, and Visteon, which co-developed the speaker packaging and system architecture. Ford Marketing named the systems after one of the Mustang’s exterior design cues, the MACH 1 “Shaker†hood.

You know what is interesting - when I e-mailed Delphi about the Shaker systems to get info on the AUX input, they responded saying they were NOT the manufacturer of the systems.

Did they by chance mention anything about the AUX on the Shaker? Or did they just respond saying "we don't manufacture it" (which doesn't make sense, since they did design it they should know whether they make it or not).
Unfortunately, they only responded that they did not manufacture them. They suggested I contact Ford for more information. So we STILL don't know much of anything about the AUX input. There's nothing about it I could find in the owners manual either.
