Audio tidbit
I was just looking at the original press pix Ford gave out in the beginning of the year and noticed something typical:

It looks exactly the same, but in this car the Audio system is still called "Mach" instead of "Shaker"...

Maybe at that point the shaker hadnt been perfected ... the Msutang oif the past few years have had Machs in them, but they were switched to Shakers this year. So if thats a pre prod, then the mach is just in there because the shaker wasn't ready to be put in.
Badandy, I know that was different! lol.
I meant everything else....could the difference between the Mach and Shakr be the same "head unit" with a different graphic...and just bigger amps and speakers?

Visteon owns the rights to the Mach system, and wanted royalties when the system was going to be changed this year, and Ford didnt feel like paying up, therefore, the Shaker was born. I think personally it was part of the "all-new" vibe that is apparent throughout the car.

Sorry, I should have specified that. Obviously they had to go to another supplier since Visteon was somewhat locked down with their own stereo. Oh well, whatever they want to call it, it sounds darn good!
Happens all the time.....especially when my wife calls me into her office saying "come here, you gotta see this!" only to find an email with the same tired halloween pics that are passed around the internet every year...

Technically speaking, does anyone know the diff. between mach 460 and shaker 500?
