Arrrgh... Stupid Kids

I am so livid right now I can barely think straight...

Was driving by some kids going to a drive through to get some late-night caffeine and I hear a "whack"... Stopped the car to look and I can't see ****. Did something hit the side of my car or did something get picked up from underneath. Glaring at the kids the whole time. Since I can't see anything, dents... or anything on the parking lot to suggest a thrown object I get back into my car and proceed to the drive-thru.

This was, obviously now, the trigger for the kids to high-tail it outta there. Get back home to the carport and there is a nick out of my paint on the rear passenger wheel flare that is down to the metal or close to it. So they had to have thrown something at my car. I can't prove anything, but if I see that POS diesel VW and the jacked up Ranger again, I'm taking out my 5-D cell maglite and ... things happen. Bad things.

Can't get a pic til tomorrow and I'm afraid that in the daylight it'll look worse. I want to scream. I should have backed up and confronted them, but my luck someone would have had a weapon.

Man... what happened to you just don't mess with a guys ride, ya know. I never, ever touched a guys car. We messed with guys and heck beat up a couple, but touch their car, never. Stupid Kids.

Sorry to hear that, Brian.

Hopefully, the damage caused by those punks isn't too bad.

I definately understand and feel your frustration right now.

That sucks. You were right about the possibility of a weapon. It's just a sad fact of the age we live in. It just doesn't pay these days to start a confrontation. They will get thier's someday.

Sorry to hear that - hopefully the repair will be simple and inexpensive. Let us know what happens.

Wouldn't just like to have a gentle introduction to the little creeps, like behind a dead end back alley with a baseball bat riveted with three inch nails in your hand?

Thanks. I appreciate it. I had to vent when I got home. It's not a big ding/mark in fact it looks like a deep pit mark more than anything. Still don't have a pic, stupid PC at work won't recognize my camera. Now that I think about it, one of them had a great arm to do that, or it was a pellet/bb gun

Thank too for the link above.

the world got a little smaller. I've lived/hung around the Whittier/La Habra area for most of my life. I remember in high school the cruising Whittier Blvd was dying out before I ever got the chance to cruise. Even my dad, who lived in Palmdale, cruised Whittier Blvd back in the day !!!!

BTW, it happened in La Mirada, a stone's throw from Whittier. across the street from where I work.
