EDIT: Found the code on the door panel sticker. Here's the codes if anyones interested or mods, feel free to delete.

BG — 3.31 — non-limited slip, base vehicle with manual or automatic transmission
CD — 3.55 — limited slip, GT with manual transmission
CG — 3.31 — limited slip, GT with automatic transmission

 

You could always crawl under rear of the car and look at the sticker that's on the axle.

Never mind.. LOL

 

Future reference: I can find this for you with your VIN as well.

Also GT's in '05 and '06 were all 3.55's. The 3.31 ratio was introduced in the GT in 2007.

 

I have a '06 gt with a auto trams that has 3.31 gears out back per the sticker on the housing

 

I think that was on the manual transmission cars only. The autos were always 3.31

 

You are absolutely right. I forgot to mention that was for manual transmission cars. My bad.
