2010 GT500 Wheels to go on in The Spring
Well since my 99's engine seized last winter and its parts were scattered around the US thereafter, my '09 will have to brave its first full Buffalo winter.
The winter tires pictured will go on my stock wheels (painted fanblades) and the GT500's will go on with new tires in the spring

Price and availability. They were at least twice as much, though I do agree they look twice as nice, you have to buy actual GT500 take offs on ebay, svtp or the like to get the 19's.

255/45R18's on the front and 285/40R18's on the rear.
an 18 x 9.5" rim is the upper limit for a 255/45R18 but in that combination offers the fastest most direct handling (as the sidewall of the tire is not forced to bulge out).
Also, man I wish somebody would offer this style wheel in a 20" forged version - tire selection is so much better (for me anyways).

That's gonna look great. Not a big change from your fan blades though. But hey they're still both great choices. Can't wait to see them on the car though.

A buddy over on 3.7/3.8mustang.com had his eye on them as well. They're now on his '02 white V6. You can see them here in this thread: Mustang rally, saleen content *Chevelles new rims, post 7*
Agreed on all accounts. Not too much of a change. Both are silver with some darker accents. However, I did really want the one color 19" versions but just couldn't justify their higher price

Yeah I bought the one from California Mustang which was ~$200 and the other three pieces ended up being ~$350 through Ford. It was a lot for what they were but they fit my car perfectly and made it pretty unique.
I'll let you know if the guy I sold them to ever decides to sell 'em.
Edit: Fitting that this 200th post pays tribute to the car that brought me into the Mustang game.

lol, yep they pulled the same **** on me. Ordered I think both sides and they only had the one piece. I feel like they called me to ask if I just wanted the one which I did.
No the one from them was painted black. The rest straight from Ford were not primed or anything. You can see the glossy one is from California Mustang.
That is pretty funny. They were the only place online that had them listed for sale but apparently they never actually had them, haha!
