Doesn't the Stang and 6 share some parts, like door handles and such? This would imply the are going to be made in the same plant

According to information from Ford engineers I've talked to at the MCA 40th, Mazda and Ford will share the total plant capacity to make both 6s and Mustangs. I did not hear plans to eliminate the production of 6s, particularly since they are important to Mazda's sales numbers now. If anything, I could imagine some shuffling of volumes between the cars, but that would be it.

Imagine standing in front of the ramp, and seeing a Stang roll off after a 6...
didn't Preston Tucker warn us about this?

That says they run 68 cars/hr, which I'm assuming is at AAI. His location is listed as FL, though, which casts doubt on that.

Edit #2: Its not shared by Mazda and Ford anymore. It is now Mustang only.
Retired and now in FL. AFTER MY 31YEARS.
