I have the boot as well but never use it. Installed it once to see how it looked and quickly removed it, put it back in the plastic and tucked it into the corner of the garage.

 

mine hasn't been used yet either, will want to install for car shows...any body have a pic of it installed

 

Ordered it and it sits in the closet. My top is down often (even in the cold) but b/c of the z-fold (GREAT) the part that sees the elements is acutally the exterior. I don't see the need, but, I am glad I ordered it all the same.

 

I used mine once. Still in plastic and stored.
