If so, how long does it take to install/remove it?? Is it worth it?? I wouldn't use it on a day to day basis, but I thought it might be useful for an extended weekend when the car was in the garage overnight with the top down, ready to go again the whole next day.

I have the factory boot. Too bad I haven't had the chance to use it with the weather in NYC. Dreaming of warm sunny days .

Ordered it, but rarely use it. About the only time it is on is for car shows or extended top-down drives.

Mine's in the attic, still in the plastic. I love the way the top folds down and meets up with the rear headrests. The boot screws up that line, which is important to the car's design.

I have used mine a couple of times. It's not hard to put on or take off, just a few minutes.

Most of the time, though, I just put the top down and go. The Z fold looks good all the time.

The only option I didnt get on my 06 Vert. I love the way my car looks without the boot IMHO.

I've got it, but have only used it two or three times.
Mostly it just takes up space in the trunk.
It is easy to install, and looks good.
But... I just want to put the top down and go, so I don't usually take the time to put it on.

Nicest thing is it is soft and folds up nicely, not at all like the 99 boot.

Got it, used it twice. Once when I drove it off the lot and the second time when I was at a car show. It's very easy to use but it takes up too much space in the trunk to leave it there all the time. Plus it looks fine without the boot anyways.

Looks cool without. Got it, put it in on once just to see how it went on, put it back in the bag and that's where its been since. But I've got in case I feel like using it

I believe the boot was standard on the 06 vert. Might want to check with yur dealer. I've only used it once mainly because it took to long to figure out how to get the thing on.

It came with my '05, still in plastic in the trunk. The top has a nicely finished appearance in the down position, the boot is superfluous in my opinion.

Nope, it was an option.

Took me a bit the first time to figure it out as well. But now that I know, its easy to install. I use it on days when its nice out and I want to keep the top down the whole day. I will use it to protect the top and keep fading to a minimum. If you are going to keep the top down for extended periods it would be good to use to to keep the front third of the top from fading while it protects the other two thirds. Regardless, I like it, its a very nice boot and much easier to use than my moms is for her 2003

Mine is still in the plastic. The dropped top looks great without it, and the 303 protectant I put on it makes sure it wont fade.
