i am in the process of removing my stock headers, but I cant figure out how to remove the EGR valve on the driver's side header. It is a 27 mm nut, but a crescent wrench is too big, and it hits the aluminum lines/hoses on the right side when I try to turn it.

Anyone have any advice?

 

I've read that a (27mm) socket or (ratchet) wrench can be used.
