I'm surprised you're not trading it in.

TexaStang,

I'll toss this out there, though I got flamed for it on another forum. I get up early on Saturday and was it between dawn and when the sun actually comes up. You get about a 30-45 minute window there. I live in Florida, so it might not be Texas, but it's still pretty hot here.

Now, to all who would think me a freak, I do this because I have a 13 month old son, and he wakes me up the same time every day regardless. So, since I'm up so early on Saturday, and it's not a workday, I take care of the cars. Mine first, then my wife's SUV since it's silver and water spots are much less noticeable (and she cares much less than I do, as long as it's clean...)

So, just one idea, though it may seem a bit extreme. Sunrise and dawn are not the same thng, and you have about 45 minutes of sufficient light between the two.

But, my guess is that they drive their truck and keep the Mustang hibernating in the garage.
Nah we pull it in the garage and wash it there, and usually get yelled at for making a mess Chad you need to REALLY careful at those places, especially if you have chrome parts those pressure hoses can leave bad scratches in it. On the truck I had I thought I was far enough away only to see later that the fender badging looked completely worn.
