If you don't want to wear your seat belt and not have the chime on , just go to the junkyark and find the buckel part off an older car that will fit in your new stang. Cut out the metal buckel part and leave it buckeled in all the time. Think outside of the box

You must try it if you dont like the ding dong.
Exactly what are you saying here?
I know people use LOL to mean laughing out loud when their just smiling, but this conversation really made me laugh out loud. Then the seriousness to follow! too much!

It really really does work! Its so awesome, especially in the truck. Our driveway is super long, and going just between the house and the barn in the truck, we dont put on the seatbelt, and I hated that belt minder ding donging! No more problem! There is a similar procedure I found to disable the automatic locking of the doors, if anyone is interested.

It looks crazy on paper, all the steps, but when you sit down to do it, its really not that bad. Trust me! You must try it if you dont like the ding dong. B)
Isn't the automatic locking only on the automatics, thought I read that in the owner's manual. [/b][/quote]
Nope, does it on my manual.

I have a deaf friend who says his has been turned off since he bought the car.
I asked him how they did it....he didn't respond.

It is in the manual you just have to buckle and unbuckle the seat belt a bunch. It is easy.

The 99-04s had something like that.
Digital tach, speedo, etc.

I'm sure the new one has it too.
I wonder my Mach 1 has that?

I just want to catch someone sitting in their car doing these crazy routines. Now THAT would be a priceless!
The easiest thing to do, which is the most proper or correct, is to just reach over, typically with one hand and pull the seatbelt across your lap and insert the buckle into the receiving end. That's about the only thing that won't kill someone!

Dont think that cops should enforce the seatbelt law for one reason.

The only reason two of my buddies are still alive is because they were not wearing their seatbelts. They were thrown from a car that was smashed like a little box.
Should be a choice is all I am saying

I don't have any statistics, but I'm pretty sure more people's lives have been saved wearing seatbelts than not wearing seat belt's. Or I guess it's just as easy saying more people die not wearing their seatbelt. There just is not arguing that! It is a choice! It's just one that can get you a ticket or possibly hurt.

but wearing your belt is. the choice is in putting it on or not. The ticket and whatever else is the consequence.

Well I am glad my buddies "made the choice" not to wear them because they are still here....back to the subject any eggs found?
