Any tips/tricks to clean the grille?

Any suggestions on how to clean the grille on the new Mustangs?

How do you clean the "honeycomb" areas of the grille & hood scoop on your car?

Q-tips and time.
It really doesn't take too long.

Put a stainless steel grille overtop then you will not have to worry about the honeycomb grille. Prior to the stainless steel grille I would you a small soft sponge with plenty of Meguair's car wash to get into the honeycomb the use a spray nozzle to rinse.

easier than the q-tips.... go to the paint supply section of a discount store.... buy a bunch of the small foam rubber paint "brushes". they make them in small sizes.
much better than qtips.... and they last so you can use them over again!

does not take too long either. I also "load one up" with detailer and use it in there... I use ICE. Makes the dirt not stick so much for next time......

Appropriate cleaning solution, a soft yet durable applicator, and elbow grease.

When I was cleaning my car (and specifically the upper and lower grill) for the MCA Canada National Show, I used Ulitmate Quik Detailer sprayed on Q-Tips and patience, lol! After its clean, I take more Q-Tips and use Mother's Back to Black, to get the color back into the grill.
Hope this helps.

A soft bristle brush, lots of soap, run the hose through it, be done.

Thanks for all of the ideas, I'll have to look into some of them. Usually don't blast it with a hose as the car usually doesn't get that dirty, but the grille & hood scoop seem to attract the insects.
