Mine is in writing MSRP only on the order with the deposit signed by the Sales Manager. The more I read the more I feel lucky I got that deal and that was a long time ago before the possible "shortage" issues.

I Paid $500.00 OVER MSRP but the GT's went up $350.00 so I like to think I paid $150.00 over MSRP. Well worth paying the money IMO since I see guys trying to save money and waiting since October for a car. Who the heck wants to wait 6-8 months just because you save $2500.00? My cars in transit and was ordered on Jan 25!! TOTAL FOR GT CONVERTIBLE WAS AROUND $32500.00 INCLUDING THE EXTRA $500.00

Ok......I'm new here! But this was the only site I could find on the internet that seemed to have all the information I wanted on the '05 Mustang convertible...! We ordered and were promised (Oh I hope so!) in April to the latest May. A...
V8, GT, Premium '05 Torch Red Mustang Convertible, Automatic, black top, Shaker 1000, Interior Color Accent and Interior Upgrade Package. We are giving it to my daughter for graduation. Did we do right?!?
Sounds like you "did right" and it will be beautiful... but I wouldn't be promising anyone that you will be driving it anywhere until you get a build date. As you can see by reading through the topics on this board, people have waited many, many months to get their cars. Dealers are giving their normal experience in terms of order fulfillment, but ordering a Mustang has not been a normal experience.

However, everyone says that once it gets there they totally forget about how long they waited and all is right with the world.

Good luck.
