I've been very interested in these slot Mags that American Racing came out with in Jan, But they don't fit on the 05 Mustang! Errr!

Here's the link to AR's site

AR Web Site for Ansen Slot Mags

So, I sent an E-mail to American asking if maybe they might consider making me a custom set since they do that on some of their other models of wheels.

I have a 05 V6 Mustang on order and would like to know if it's possible to order a custom set of Ansen Slot Mags to fit the new Mustang? The offset on the 05 Mustang is 40 mm.

And here's their reply.....

Thank you for your interest in American Racing. Unfortunately the Ansen is not available for your Mustang and at this time we only plan on offering the fitments currently listed. These wheels were actually designed for older vintage or muscle cars, however if we get enough interest there may be an expansion on the sizing and fitments offered in the future.
Thanks
American Racing

Come on guys! Let's get some interest going in these cool Slot Mags! I think they would look great on a Mustang!

Let's send them thousands of E-mails and get them to make us some slot mags for the 05 Mustang!

Here's the E-mail link that I used......

Go for it!

A fair looking wheel, although 17 X 8 is the largest move on. IMO.

I've seen countless Mustang IIs with these wheels. I wouldn't count on seeing too many '05s.
