Another New Hood Strut Kit
#1
I already have my Redline Tuning hood struts, but I just saw another kit on eBay.
Mustang 05-06 Hood Lift Gas Strut Ford
The brackets are small like the Redline Tuning kit, but this one bolts into existing holes, like the MRT & CDC kit.
The one drawback I see is how long the struts are, but they are very low and would probably not get in the way.
Good price too. $60 + $10 s/h. Same as the Redline Tuning.

Yes, I am seriously considering those too. In reading the sellers feedback, it did not look like he had sold any before. If they are nice I will order some too. Thanks for being the tester Chris!!

Anyone know who they use for shipping? I refuse to use UPS ever again.

Here is your review of these struts. I received them today and, Holy Cow, talk about easy to intall. The fit and work perfectly. :worship: They are sooooooo much better than drilling, riveting or using a big ugly swiss cheese bracket. I wouldn't use anything else at all
I can't think of one reason to buy and install anything else. They even come with a 2 year warranty. Mine took 9 days from order date to arrival in Florida. The arrived USPS, U.S. Mail

got mine today and installed them in about 30 min.hardest part is getting the bottom brackets not to move when lowering the hood initially. They really need to be cinched down as tight as I could possible get them.Tip: put ALOT of downforce on the rods when compressing them initially prior to install.I basically needed to put most of my weight down on them to initial compression.Could easily do it in 10 min if I had to do another one.Get them!
