I went out (gasp) Shopping today.
I went to the good mall behind the mall. Made a right turn, Hit a patch of water.........Went sideways with a Soccer mom bearing down.........
Close call. Good thing I have done that before and have learned my way out of it.
And I thought having no TC would be fun!

 

I would highly recommend driving lessons. There are many cars with much more horsepower and no T/C out there that people drive without throwing them sideways. You shouldn't be slip sliding around like that.

Don't say you're just having fun. It's more fun to drive a car properly then to just keep your foot on the right-hand pedal all of the time. Thats not called fun, its called stupid.

Heck, my first four mustangs never had T/C and I can think of only a few instances I ever fishtailed a bit, and everytime was on purpose.

Seriously. Driving school. Ask for it on your next birthday or Mothers Day. It may save your life.

 

I'm glad you live in AprilLand and not around here. If ya did I don't think I'd ever go out on the roads.

 

April Land is a cool place to be... You are just jealous there is no adrenaland.
And Brad and Scott seem fine...Even with me sharing the roads with em.

 

They must have an April Radar to help them avoid you slip sliding around on wet roads.

 

Is THAT why I always see Scott powershifting to get away...I mean lead the way with a yellow Mustang behind.

 

I am nice to all mustangs on the road but the yellow ones like mine. And to be truthful, I have never seen PSH on the road . Just Scott once last summer going in the opposite direction. I would say all but three of the 05/6 mustangs I encounter on the road here are NOT on TMS. (Lucky them)

Seriously though, I was thinking SHOES(and clothes)! Not --Crap its been Tstorming all morning, better take that turn like Granny. So I fishtailed it(again). Totally my fault. Even Brian says- You moroon learn to drive Or I am taking your mustang license away from you.

I don't think we would ever meet but that's only because I don't think you could get there in one piece. I'm pretty sure everyone would meet in a parking lot so all we have to do is make sure the pavement at the entrances are wet. You'd just keep sliding right by.

 

I will have you know- I know how to handle that!

I think it goes-
Holy crap= she slid into that turn! AND MADE IT!

 

but then you would bounce off a curb and loose another spinner

In the rain please keep your foot off the gas pedal, even better keep out of the car. Lucky you don't have a GT, cause the sliding into curbs/car washes would be greatly increased.
