She is all shiny and new and beautiful again!!
Oh and for those
The puke stain is a memory..
And the spinner is shiny and new and lovely.

Now make sure you follow WAY behind those "dumptrucks". So this doesn't happen again!

and don't let the kid in the car or take the car to a car wash Maybe you should just park it for a little while. Give it some time to recover

Remember what Chevy Chase did when Walley World was closed for the season?

Keep an eye on your tires if they are building in your neighborhood. They seem to be magnetically attracted to tires.

Did you take the dog to the vet to get checked out?

At least keep him in the backseat. Dont tell me he wont fit, i've put 3 100lb weimaraners in the backseat of the cobra.

What he lacks in weight, he makes up for size.
The mustang ride was a one time only deal. To get him home. I will be using the POS to dog haul from now on.

He is fine, because My elbow absorbed the brunt of the impact- I think he hit the pinhole I had from before just right.

AHH I have been out driving her all afternoon. I love it when she's complete

so what you are saying is you think the dog is fine even though his head cracked the windshield and you have not taken him to a vet. If it was your kids head would you have taken him to a doctor? Are there no vets in AprilLand?

I assure you both Nevada is 200% fine. If he was not, he would be at the vet in a second.

It wasn't a hard hit, whatsoever. My arm absorbed it. I believe he got the weak spot where I had a small chip with the tip of his nose and my hand.I hadn't bothered to fix it, because I don't like fixes I like new. Theres a topic on that chip around here somewhere. He didn't even yelp.

Poor April, they're really giving you a hard time! I'm guessing it's out of love and respect! Glad you and the dog are OK. Here you are being nice and adopting a dog and everyone's giving you grief! Kindness never pays!

Sooo, the people you adopted the greyhound from didnt ask to see the vehicle you were taking it home in, and ask where you were going to be placing the dog???

I know, I may be a crazy Californian, but when we adopted our Dane from rescue, they were very particular about those things. Even had extra harness systems for the backseat of hubbies truck. We had alreay purchased one, so, it was no biggie, but they werent letting anyone leave with an animal unrestrained.

There are always lots of shoulda coulda wouldas in accident scenarios. But, think about it this way, if the rescue agency had done thier job and enlightened you to the danger of driving with an unrestrained animal in your front seat, you wouldnt have had a cracked windshield at all, or a greyhound seeing birdies.

Thats my $.05

With her all fixed up and new again, Its time for toys.......( I like mustang toys)
I am thinking:
06 pony badges(I fricken hate those snakes)
And when I get $500 MRT Louvers. Because all the other mustangs have vents......And I like to be the odd one.
I gotta get her churched up for September- I can't drag in a plain mustang.

Lessons I learned from all of this:
Use the POS when you have a sick kid.
Do not use a carwash even when the car is covered in vomit.
Stay FAR behind Construction vehicles.
Don't move into a development under construction when you have a new car.
Seatbelt the dog. (obvious, but der, I was having a blonde day)
Don't have a nasty attitude.
Learn to laugh it off.
