Ambient lighting

It started out as an option on premium models from 08-09. Starting with the 10 models it became standard on premium models.

2008 was the first model year as a factory option. It was not offered before then. You need to check your VIN number to see if your have your model year correct since late 2007 production dates do not indicate model year. If you have a 2007 then perhaps you have a retrofitted dealer installed accessory kit which is different than the 08-09 factory kit. All factory kits have the glow rings in the cup holder, small LED's under the center of the dash on both sides, LED's on the back sides of the console to light up the rear footwells, and a square lighted switch on the console next to the cupholder. The dealer installed version has light tubes under the dash attached with tie wraps and a single LED installed in the back of the cupholder. Also the button to change the colors is round.

I think there was a post in the interior section where a guy bought all of the hardware and piecemeal and installed it in his car. Came out really nice. It really is a sweet option that us pre-08 guys never had but if you're handy enough you can do it yourself. I remember reading it was in the hundreds of dollars range as far as cost after gathering all the pieces.

I don't have glow rings in the cup holders or LEDs under dash......the button to adjust the ambient lighting is on the dash with the info button and shows the settings under the speedo......???

That was me who retrofitted the ambient lighting into my 2005. It was pricey when I did it, but now you can get the parts from a wrecker easily enough and at a fraction of the cost that it cost me way back then.
You will need to make your own harness, though. I gave pretty specific instructions on how to do this in a thread in here somewhere. I'll look for the thread when I have time later on.

And to answer your original question... My Color was an option. Standard instrument clusters were cursed with slime green night illumination and white during the day.
