I got quoted at 108 a month with American Family. Thats rate is in the vegas area, and its not a bad deal, considering that i am paying 82 a month for a little nissan. So $26 more a month for a GT is a steal for me.

I would suggest that you purchase from a local reputable broker.
No on line stuff. I know you are not experienced in these matters so listen up to other that are. What about gap coverage? Does the policy cover this are you going to be holding the bag if your car is totaled? I would be willing to bet there is not one in a thousand that knows what that is when purchasing insurance.
Insurance is like a doctor. You never know how good they are until you need them. You better be right. Read all the fine print before you sign.

Fortunately anyone leasing a car in NJ automatically gets GAP insurance. It's the law and one cannot lease a car without it. As stated above, folks in the past were left holding the bag so NJ stepped in to protect consumers. I think NY does it too? A bank offering a lease (whether it be Ford Credit or Chase etc) must include (for a built in fee of course) GAP insurance as part of the leasing contract. It doesn't fall under an individual's own policy.

Like Mongoose said, anyone leasing a car make sure you have GAP insurance.

I am 26, and I went through Progressive. I have 250k/500k/100k, 500/500, $30/day rental, and gap insurance.

I was shocked and overjoyed.

Danny move anywhere in the lower midwest and you will find lower prices but so are wages. I was in your state for a year. Fun not a place I would live long term.

That's a great rate futurestang. I'm 33 and USAA quoted me somewhere between 2300-2400 per year. And I have my homeowners insurance and mortgage with them too. I went on-line to GEICO and have $1300 per year. Oh yeah, full coverage, 100/300, 500 deductibles.
That's interesting, I am 25 with USAA and my insurance is 1440 a year. NJ insurance rates must be crazy.

I forget exactly what my quote was, approx. $450.00 every six monthes. But, I am 44 and I told them my kids would not drive it. Which they won't. State Farm, flame away but, they have been good to me.

Wow...no thanks. I live in a 2 BR / 1 BA apt. in a nice area. $674 per month including the $30 per month for covered parking. Of course, I am sure life is a lot more exciting in LA than in KC.

Come on out to Kansas. It's "as big as you think"!
