TSB 05-9-11 released today:
For vehicles built before 4-8-2005. It involves replacing the upper strut bearing with a revised part (still 5R3Z-18138-A, probably with a yellow paint dot on it somewhere-kc you know what I mean ), Installing a rubber isolator on the bottom of the spring (vehicles built before February of '05) and assuring that the coil ends are butted up against the upper and lower sping seat stops.
Will advise on completion of repair effectiveness.

I also just talked to the service manager at my dealership, he said that the new parts are available and they are going to order them. How long till they come in.... who knows.
Hopefully soon, my dealership is only about 5 miles from the Flat Rock plant where the Mustang is built, maybe they could just drive over and snag a few out of the supply bin!!!!

Auto Alliance is Flat Rock. Plant code "5" in the vehicle serial number. Just a name change. All Probes were built there as well. (But you probably know that.)

Now this is great dealer service
I posted earlier that I had my upper sturt bearings replaced way back in December..But in the last month the popping had returned...I didnt call the dealer on this yet..I was waiting on the TSB to come out..But while I was at work today I got a phone call from my service writer (John ) at Mossy Ford.. He told me he was ordering the newer sturt bearing for me and he would let me know when they come in..so he could have them changed again...I asked him how he knew the popping had returned on my car..He told me he didnt care if it had'nt..He wanted to get the newer parts on my car so it does'nt.. Then he asks me how the fuel tank was doing..I told him no problems with that one.. but the CD player was acting up..He said OK new one's on its way...
A Big for the guys at Mossy Ford...THAT'S JUST GREAT SERVICE
