I had 700 miles, he had 900. But we drove 'em like we stole 'em. And to answer your question, stock for stock.

We couldn't have been more... umm... aggressive!

Hummers are the worse I have seen

My husband picked me up from work in the GT. The top was down and it a beautiful day. We were about to go North from 695 to I 83, a tracktertrailer was in front of us. This Hummer forsed his way over almost cutting the truck off and did this from the lane that was to stay on 695. The truck swung back putting on the brakes and we almost T-boned the Hummer. Then he decides to race us. What a kitty cat. Of course when we found a whole we were gone. Left him to fight the truck. I think if he had been in a beater he would have never tried that. All I could say to my husband was, " He owns the road! He paid for it with that Hummer. Or at least he thinks so."

Encountered "THE BEAST" last night

Speaking of beasts like Hummers and such, I encountered one on my way home last night.

Coming up on what looks like a pretty standard Hemi truck from behind. Just ignore him as I cruise to a stop and look ahead...four lanes and no cars for at least a mile...speed limit 50, means I can go to 60 or so before shutting down....ah, I can stretch the GT's legs for the first time today!!!!

Light goes green, I take off the line, pedal fairly well down, 20-30-40 in the blink of an eye.....suddenly this innocent-looking truck blows by me and starts dissapearing into the distance..we're not talking pulling ahead...I mean he ran away like I was standing still!!! After eating ?HEMI? fumes, I saw him further north stopped in traffic and checked out the truck (still had the temporary plates on the back window). Badge on the back said SRT10. Did some research online and apparently this was the 500 hp, Viper-engine, 5 second (0-60) new behemoth from Dodge.

All I can say is, that was some truck!

You don't want to mess with that thing. Of course it's twice the price of a normal Mustang GT so it had better go pretty well. How can you go wrong with Viper motor?

Having now lived in both New Jersey and Florida (currently), I've got to admit, no matter how bad NJ drivers tend to be, Florida drivers are expontentially worse. For every bad NJ driver there seems to be at least 4 atrocious FL drivers - I see at least one awful accident on the road when driving from point A to point B, every single time, in Florida... there needs to be something done about it.
