I am29 (erm 31) and have NEVER owned a 4 door car. Not enough money on the planet to get me in a SUV or Minivan EVER. Conservative is not in my vocabulary.

Porsche(jag, Bmw, Mercedes) is also not in my vocabulary

The Porsche Cayenne is far from conservative.

Although if money wasn't an issue, I would actually go with Ferrari.

As far as this poll goes, I plan on driveing a Mustang well into my Eighties, God willing.
Although I know it stinks to look over a see an older person behind the wheel. When I step inside it is 19 all over again. It is fact that we can't stop ageing, but we do not have to give into it either! I don't plan on it. :drive:

The GT is my wife's, she is the owner, its mine to care for. It's her first Mustang, she's a 48 yearold grandmother, who can easily past for 38 year old mom, when out with the little ones. And she's not easly on that accelerator either.

It's my second Mustang, the first being an '89 GT that has been my daily driver for almost 16 years now.

Similar story to Texas Flood's - My 89 LX 5.0 has been my daily driver since new, just getting ready to put on the snow tires for another fun Northern Ohio winter. Car's got 103,000 miles and still going strong.

I've had my 05 GT for a week now. I'm 43 and this is my second Mustang. The first was a 1968 presidential blue fastback, 302-4v, 4-speed that I bought for $900 when I was 17. You're only young twice!

37 here My love of the mustang had been LONG. My job involves alot of travel and a PU truck. After this job I was going to look for real job (alot less money but I'll be home) BTW haven't been home in 11 years. I planed on buying a 69 mach and restoring it. But then the 05 showed up. It has made me forget the 69 and filled the hole. I bought a car dolly and I'll take my stang with me to the next job. I decided not to finance it but to pay cash for it. So, it will take me prob. one more year to build my nest egg back to what I need. I think that the year will be worth having my baby.
Maybe that is too much info but, its raining and my crews are off.

I'm 23 and this will be my second car period (and first new; first Mustang). I'm buying it myself and have been saving for about two years to do so. It's a graduation present to myself!
It's a Premium GT, Satin Silver w/ dark charcoal int. IUP, active anti-theft, 5spd, Shaker 500, upgraded wheels w/locking nuts, spoiler. I can hardly wait. It should be quite an upgrade from my '91 Formula Firebird.

I'm 63 and this '05 is my retirement gift to myself!!
I've owned four Mustangs since 1989 as follows:
1965 Coupe, Satin Silver - restored and sold in '94
1969 SportsRoof, Champgne Gold - restored and just sold to finance the '05
1967 Coupe, Brittany Blue - currently under restoration
2005 GT Coupe below - my driver for the rest of my driving career!
Age doesn't matter much!!

I'm 49 and ordered my '05 Premium GT on 12/30.
This is no mid-life crisis for me however - I' ve just never grown up! B) From 1992 to 1998 my daily driver was a dark red 87 Mustang GT, and from 1998 to now I've been driving a laser red 95 GT.
Prior to the Mustangs, I had an 80 Z28 and an 84 Z28 (both ordered new), a 74 Z28, a 71 Olds 4-4-2 (W-30 option), and a 65 Corvette 396. Every car I've ever owned has had a manual tranny, but that's just my preference...
Anyway, I've ordered a Satin Silver '05 with IUP and ICAP, and am really looking forward to the red leather seats (never had a car with leather!).
However, reading all the posts here from the Screaming Yellow owners, I'm REALLY rethinking my order and wondering if I should go for it and change my order to yellow?!?! I still haven't seen one in person, so I guess I have to at least do that before changing the order... The color choice is driving me nuts!
