Age of 05 to 09 Mustang Owners!
Bought my '09 GT back in Feb 09 when the bottom was falling out of the car market. Bought it on a Monday and lost my job the following Friday.
But... I managed to keep the car and love it. 39 years old.

Most of the 3V crowd hang out at S197forum.com. It's about the best forum for tech on our cars. Just read the rules and lurk for a while before you post, to get the feel of the place, it's not like the other forums. Also don't mess up the tech section or you will get crucified.

I just checked it out and apparently you have to register to even see anything. I received this message under the '2005+ Mustang GT 4.6L Tech' section.

Yes you have to register, that's why I said lurk for a while. The Tech section is maintained for real tech, so it doesn't get lots of posts but there is a wealth of knowledge there. Once you read the rules you will understand.
60 is in the rearview mirror. I once once a '69, had a 2002 V6, I currently own a 2006 GT. It has close to 100,000 miles on it, so I have refreshed it a little. It has just had a Ford RPP suspension kit installed, lowering it slightly with a set of the 2007 Shelby lower A arms, (beefed up ball joints). It should handle better than new.
I love the look of the new models, but I am saving pennies for a new 4.6 stroker (5.0 from the 4.6). (With ported heads new intake and cams it should produced about 440-hp and 435-ft lbs of torque, N/A).

I bought Mistress Lauren when I was 52 in 2006. I am 60 now.
When I bought her, friends and family were asking me if I was having a "midlife crisis".... I told them you have to grow up in order to have one of those! Age is a number and an attitude... carpe diem!
