I think the orginal question was Why are Mustang parts so much more expensive than others.

Example Moss Motors
A armrest for a F150 Pick up truck. Twice as big as for the Mustang for 19.95

Again I do spent money on my Mustang, infact the total is a little over 13K right now plus the price of the car. The above is what people are complainting about.

One big thing I haven't seen mentioned here is the companies that make parts for those who actually race their cars in a series with class rules, parts limitations, etc... The cost of owning and operating a racecar, paying event fees and sponsoring other drivers to use your parts really stacks up fast. Do this for a few years and try a bunch of different manufactureres and you'll quickly learn what a difference it makes when you buy from one of these retailers. You won't find that kind of "R&D" on eBay.

Mike I understand your point but How much R$D is involved in a Arm Rest?

That is what I believe most are complaining about here not necessarily on the performance parts.
