Aftermarket Seat Suggestions for S197 as comfortable as OEM
Driver power seat gear striped & stuck in forward position, so I'm shopping for aftermarket seats.
Which seats do you guys like best on daily drivers and occasional road trips?

I am not aware of any aftermarket alternatives, except race-oriented seats which generally are not comfortable for long road trips
I don't know what year is your car, but some later model Mustang seats might be a good option

Other than OEM, there are no other alternatives that I'm aware of except for aftermarket race seats which as posted are not very comfortable for long road trips.. Therefore, I'd follow Bert's recommendation and would consider looking into used OEM seats for 2005-14 S197 models.

Um... ...
I'm with those guys on the seats thing. But better yet... why replace the entire seat for the power part not working? I mean, if you're comfy in the current seat, then fix the power part and that'd be that. You can find the kits to fix the problem if it's the gear and not the worm drive. If it's the motor, you can get those too. Or you can just get a whole other power seat track set (this is what I have, ready to go for Awesome if hers goes out.)
Just spitballin' there. If it helps or not, there ya go. Good luck on whatever it is you do!
/There's threads about this place regarding just this thing. Maybe they help, go search for 'power seat' and enjoy.
