Active Anti Theft - Dilema
I think it would be pretty simple for the remote start hardware to determine if the car is in gear or not. Just like on most autos that won't start unless the brake pedal is depressed and the car is in park.

I guess he means leave it in neutral and use only the parking brake.

I'm NOT Getting a remote start...I was just saying that I have seen one on a manual. And what I meant was better make sure it's in neutral!
