Also, does anyone know if the factory alarm inludes the remote start, or does that part have to be added at the dealer?

central locking = unlocking the driver door unlocks the passenger door, too.

remote start sells seperately

I've seen a manual with a remote start...better make darn sure it's not in gear!

I think it would be pretty simple for the remote start hardware to determine if the car is in gear or not. Just like on most autos that won't start unless the brake pedal is depressed and the car is in park.

I too wondered if I should have ordered the anti-theft, but my car is already showing "built". My dealer said if I really wanted it, they could install after my car is delivered.

Yes, I'd agree. However, getting someone to put a remote start on a manual is bound to get the mechanic's license pulled if the authorities found out. Thats a lot different than speeding.

For the people who didn't get the Active AntiTheft there are aftermarket systems as good/if not better

I'm NOT Getting a remote start...I was just saying that I have seen one on a manual. And what I meant was better make sure it's in neutral!
