I spoke to my dealer this morning and he said my build date is 9/6 which is Labor Day. I called this to his attention and he said he did not know, thats what my status report says. My question for someone in the know is are they working on Labor Day? Persistance pays off, I ordered on 6/3/04 from a small dealership about an hour away. The large dealership where I have bought several new cars would not even talk to me about an order, nor would several other closer dealerships. Thanks for all the info I have gathered from this site that put me "in the know".

 

The build date is really the "build week" Ford will not be working on Labor Day.

 

Thanks Nichole, I searched post from AAI TA after posting question and found my answer. Should have done that before I posted! I am just toooo excited. Now if only I can find a buyer for my present car.
