You could get a hood from Cervinis either the M1 or B2 hood, Agent 47 side mirrors, ram air system and upper grill, CDC Agressive Chin spoiler, and mount the tri bar pony emblem in the center and PIAA fog lights down at the bottom

You can probably put that together with the Cervini's Stalker front Bumper, and M1 hood (or the B2 if you'd rather have a shaker). Then just push the lower fogs out to the sides, and you're pretty close. I'd imagine those parts would work together, though you'd have to call and find out.

copying this over here per Shotokan's suggestion-
not really a tribute, just a stripe/scoop I kinda like...kept the 1 3/4 outline, but only left a 1/4 pinstripe instead of the normal 1/2 inch...still gives a little detail, but more subtle...finally painted it yesterday, out to wetsand/buff in a few![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
the hood is from Aeroform, its the old Fang Performance unit, but its not a shaker- I got the blockoff plate for their mach1` hood, did some cutting on the scoop bosses, molded some 'glass standoffs to the blockoff, added a 3/8 inch neoprene seal and a steel perimeter plate to sandwich the seal...still functional, but opens with the hood- room under for a blower maybe someday was biggest reason, but I wasnt really a fan of covering the intake with the engine cover either...it gets hot enough as is...

That price might not be so bad if you really wanted a "new" 1969-'70 Mustang that is about as close to the original you can get using the new car technology. Unless you could do ALL the body, interior, drivetrain work yourself on a resto-mod old Mustang (which I would LOVE to do) you would have about the same money in either one. The only question for me would be how good is the quality of the Retrobuilt conversion.....paint, fiberglass fit and finish, parts warranty, replacement parts ect.??? From the pics it looks like they hit the nail dead on the head.

Why won't anyone make a grille like this for the S197? I mean that is the perfect tribute/retro/clone/etc grille like that on the '69 Mach1.
I've scoured the net and can't find one decent aftermarket grille similiar to that.
