Leo your car looks great. I love the flat black stripe on a black car. It is so subtle. .

The rear faux gas cap looks good also. Did you black out that rear panel between the tail lights? The finish looks different. It definitely looks good. I love the CDC duck tail. I need to do that some day.

Here's an old pic of my car. No longer looks like this, but the look fits the 70 theme:

OK John, you can't tease us like that. What did you do to her. Post some recent pictures. The old pictures looked great. Very well done.

I took the splitters and headlight tint off... it didn't look as I was hoping it would. I've got other pics floating around, but I'll just post one pic of it's present look to keep the thread on topic. I'm hoping for a nice day to get some new, good pics, and when I do I'll post in the Torch Red thread.

Thanks. Yup I blacked it out using a matte black vinyl black out from BSM. Everyone always comments on how it looks painted.

The ducktail, shaker, and chin spoiler were the three things I knew I wanted and needed before I even got the car.

This pic is one I took after the stripe was put on in the winter. Mach 1 style rounds off at the top of the hood. I will post better pics when I get some.

My new stripes

I added side stripes to my car. I was inspired by the '69 and '70 Shelby Mustangs:

This was the first time I'd ever worked with stripes and it was frustrating for me seeing a lot of little air bubbles the first day, but after a couple of days it seems the bubbles leveled out.
