I am in California. I ordered My GT on Nov 1, 2004 - Priority 10.
My dealer called on Dec 14, 2004 and said my car was on the train. He gave me a delivery timeframe between Dec 23 and Dec 24. Just in time for Christmas.

Wow now that's nice! I also have a priority 10 but I didn't order until 11-29 so I'm not expecting mine until at least February now with the IUP probs

Our order times are about the same, order Nov 3, suppose to get here on the 27th. Mine was actually built early, it finished production the end of last week and this week was the build week.

 

Los Angeles here-
I ordered my 2005 Mustang GT on 10/20 and after a month of delays the car was scheduled for build this week, with a dealer ETA week of 12/31.

I talked to Ford and my dealer today and I was told my car was shipped on 12/14 with a dealer ETA week of 12/25. My dealer expects the car to arrive before New Years.

 

I will just give you my experience with the ETA, there is a real good chance that it could come a week or so early. My car was built the week of 11/29 with an ETA of Dec 20th, then the ETA was moved to Dec 16th. The car arrived here yesterday with a pickup by me this evening.
The car was shipped via train and actually arrived at our reginal railhead Dec 6th, where it sat for awhile before trucked here. So keep and eye out and be ready for a possible ealier than expected arrival.

 

I ordered a mineral grey GT at 10/13/04. Got the build date last week (11/30/04). Dealer couldn't give me a delivery date yet... located in CT

How long does it take to build a 2005 mustang?

 

I have heard it mentioned on here 3 shifts, couple days, something like that
