If you are an A/X plan buyer, you get the $500 A/X plan cash [instead of the regular dealer cash program.

You do not get both [at least in the midwest region]

Thanks for clearing this up.

ISELLFORD-
Because my dealer mentioned it to me, I will be pushing them to give me the $500 dealer cash when my car comes in (or at least split it).... we'll see !

Any chance of getting it in your opinion?

Ha. That's funny because I asked the salesman today if there was some sort of $500 rebate on my 07 GT potential order and he said there's nothing like that going on...

Is there a program number to this cash or do I just ask my dealer and watch the dumb expression on his face when he says"I don't think so"?

Thanks dly

My salesman told me there is a $500.00 cash deal but no x-plan incentive. He also said there is a customer loyalty incentive coming out soon.

Tell him that's bull, because I could have gotten the discount (Z plan) if I had known about it sooner and taken delivery just five days later...

You misunderstood. I got X-Plan pricing but was told no X-plan rebates.

No you misunderstand. When it says "Dealer Cash" it means that the dealer gets the benefit of the rebate and does not have to tell you about it. And yes, the incentive applies to all purchases. Translation: He will pocket the $500 incentive money on you....

I've tried to find out info on the above program numbers, can you provide more details ($ amount) on the "32116" and "71108" programs.

No, I don't; Those program numbers came from my dealer and he determined that I didn't qualify for any of them...There is a link on the fordvehicles web site to look for incentives in your area...Let me see if I can find it and post the link...

American Quarter Horse is a good one if you don't have X plan. That one I know is exclusive of plan pricing...

I agree with you on the $500 dealer cash, my salesman told me that was available. What I am saying is that when I asked about the additional $500.00 x-plan "dealer cash" I was told not available. I was saying that instead of $1000.00 dealer cash total, I was told only $500.00 dealer cash total.

At least in the midwest region, the dealer cash is for all retail sales types. The money is paid to the dealer; what he/she does with it is his/her business; period.

For A/Z/X plan sales, there is A/Z/X/ Plan cash of $500 in lieu of the retail dealer cash. This money must be paid to the buyer.

PS< Nice ride Alan, I think it's my cars twin.

So what's the story here. If I get x-plan on my car that puts me around $27500 invoice. I can also get an additional $500 off so it'll be $27000 total???

Just checked the Incentives for an 07 stang and their are none for the GT.

I agree that the Ford web site does not list any 2007 GT incentives. I saw what was written here and specifically asked my salesman about any deal incentives. The response was $500.00 cash rebate was available on my x-plan purchase.

For the x-plan, the total price will be what invoice is plus the national advertising fees. The x-plan price will be on the DORA the dealer should show you when the order is accepted by Ford. (I am not a Ford employee or a dealer person just get x-plan because my wife retired early from TRW)

To anyone on the lookout for an 06 -- Warnock Ford in Morristown NJ has an 06 GT vert, 5sp, yellow with black top, black interior. They will honor Xplan on all vehicles (many in this area will not take xplan on a 5sp vert). It is a Demo but I don't know how many miles are on it. The sales guy said they will give a "great deal" on it but I didn't pursue as I'm not interested in yellow. It was still there as of late yesterday afternoon (wed, 8/9).

Now I'm confused, if I look at rebates for 06 GT automatics it shows $1500 rebate. If I log in as an X plan customer and look at the rebates, it is only $1000 for the '06 GT automatics. Is the website outdated or would I have to ****er for invoice to get a better deal with the $1500 rebate? Arrgh.
