OK I came across more pics of the 3D Carbon car on Mustang World
http://mustangworld.com/ourpics/News/select3216.htm
and as I look at it more the more I like it, and I have a question for those in the know (JRabbit) it says that they are wider fenders that blend into the new front and back, but does that mean that their side skirts would not work without the rest of the kit? would it stick out and look stupid? and how much wider are the front fenders? the only part of the car I really dont care for (other than the wing...OK that makes two parts) is the front fascia. Not that I hate it, just think the opening on the front is a bit to big for what I was shooting for, but wide fenders that dont look like crappy ricer wide body fenders sound great, but how much work would it be to line it up with a different front fascia? JRabbit please help...or anyone else if you guys know.

I am also now leaning towards those wheels...perhaps not so large though and in chrome, since I am getting hooked up from HRE....I forgot that these were HREs on this car and Ive always liked them.

didn't even notice they were wider, would look nice with wider fenders, more aggressive. Don't have any info myself though, just want to make sure I remember to check out the answer, I may be interested in them some day.

I think Brad posted a PDF file with all the specs and pricing. Did you try a search?

You'd think if they wanted to put custom seats in that they'd at least install 4 or 5 point safety belts. Lots of liability in that though.

rrobello, funny, I was just going through the Boy Racer specs this afternoon. Hook up with HRE?? Boy, we gotta chat. I LOVE those rims, and I personally dont think they are too big. Did you see the one offs they put on it during production? SICK. MC2ing, was the company who did the one offs, 3D is trying to hook me up with them.

ANYWAY, I wish I had known I was just out by 3D this afternoon. I am going to run by on Monday, I will talk to them about it.

Brad has put up the spec sheet on the SEMA page. Email me the specifics, I will take it with me on Monday. I would do it over the weekend, but me and the pony will be partying like rock stars in Vegas baby!

Jrabbit you dont think 22" rims are too big? Yeah getting hooked up from HRE and I can probably help with the illegal tint issue so PM....I will check the specs on the kit but I was thinking more or less if the fenders are wider than I would assume that means the fascias would also have to wider than the rest of the car and so would the side skirts...meaning its all or nothing, but they dont mention changing the doors and those line up nicely so it must be compatible piece by piece. I want the side skirts and fenders.

I hate to bring up an old thread, but I just wanted to say 3D has the best looking side skirts out right now. They're the only ones that don't look like an afterthought.
It's too bad you have to get their fender flares also... and therefore get their front and rear bumper. I think they would sell a lot more product if the whole body kit wasn't required to make it look right.
Hey Jessica, think you could recomend this to them?
