Very uncomfortable front seats. Try driving longer than an hour or 2. It's bad.

Dislikes:
Steering wheel too far away compared to pedals, shifter, stereo, etc.
No 60's style hips (or shoulders)
No low end torque.

The design of the car, it looks astonishing now matter where you look at it from.

the rumble of the V8, can't get much better than that.

the feel of power on the touch of the throttle.

dislikes:

the d**n rattles inside the dash and passenger seat makes it feel a cheap interior even if I enjoy the design.

the Wheel hop!!! 21st century Ford!! you can have a pony car without wheel hop coming out of the fabric right? NO! it has to have that horrible wheel hop...every burn out...

the clunck the car does from 1st to 3rd when I drive it slow, I guess it is made to kick the S*** out of it every time... the dealer said it was normal that the gear box and diff have some space between the teeth so they don't burn, but I still think it should be more gentle when you drive it normally...I guess it is the price of the 5 sp.

the rest, it is just the perfect car for me I love every minute I am driving it.

 

Both the wife and I had no problem with the front seats during a recent 14 hour drive from New Jersey to Alabama. We only stopped long enough to refuel (2 times), 1 bathroom break (no... really, my wife only wanted to stop once!!! ) and 1 hour for dinner. That's it, no more and both of us felt the car was very comfortable to ride/drive in. I did all the driving as well. In my 97 GT you would have been crippled... I know as I did a 12 hour drive in that once and regretted it.
BTW... This is not the only long trip we have done together, we have driven to Houston twice togther (about 10 hours) and I have driven to Dallas once (about 10 hours) and Orlando once (about 7.5 hours) with no ill effects or regrets. All totaled in the 4 months I have owned my stang I have put 11,300 miles on it. It ain't uncomfortable if you ask me.

1. The one touch up windows... got to love it when you are driving a stick!
2. MyColor... Love it inspite of the fact that only the gauges change color and I put mine on blue and left it there!
3. The fact that I constantly have people give me comments on my ride!

Dislikes:
1. The gear shifter... nuff said.
2. The seats don't return to their last position when you access that area that looks like a back seat...
3. No storage for gear like sunglasses, ect... My last stang had a spot for this in the dash but nuthin in this one. I bought a thing for the visor to remedy this.

2. Shaker stereo (it's got fewer features than the old Mach 460)

4. Color palette
5. MyColor only affects instrument cluster

7. Stock GT grille
8. Unattractive engine bay

Thankfully, the healthy aftermarket makes it easy to improve or correct most of my dislikes!

Stock ride height....... I forgot about that one. These cars look like they come with a factory 4X4 option for offroading...... I don't like that.

• Single exhaust
• different grill opening than GT
• My color is only on the gages
• Not enough Vinyl / leather in interior even with IUP
• Shaker - pioneer built it you would think it would be better
• No warranty backed supercharger for the V6
• Dealer markups
• No radio controls on steering wheel.
• GT badges (V6 and pony package looks better)
• Sat radio reciever on trunk lid
• Antenae not integrated in the window
• doors don't lock automatically on the 5 speed

okay maybe i'm being picky

 

Speaking of which did you get the FRPP Shocks/Struts on? Or am I thinking of someone else?
