2008 V6 short headers need gaskets?

2008 V6 short headers need gaskets?
my mechanic whose gonna help me put on my eibach lowering springs asked me to get gaskets if i want to change my headers, or there would be exhaust leak, ive been looking into american muscle's v6 shortty headers and I don't know if you guys have bought their headers and if i really need gaskets..

Just don't damage them and make sure they are clean.
My headers came with an aluminum gasket and I used that along with some high heat copper gasket material sandwiched between the headers and gasket and gasket and heads. But I was told numerous times from members on this forum that you can in fact reuse stock gaskets without any extra gasket maker material.
Either way I had no leaks in my setup and i verified both install procedures to be good with Kooks so either way seemed good to me.

ok my local mustang shop says they have the gasket included in all headers
but anyways help me understand this,, why is chrome cheaper than ceramic? any difference in life duration? my car isnt for show i want the headers to last really long time
