It definitely looks more at home in the new Taurus(which is much better looking then I thought it would be 
) then in the stang as it has many other like-themed chrome items. If you put an MGW plug in the 12V it would probably look a lot better

What do you mean, there is crome around the airvents and speedo. I think its a nice touch

I wonder if there is anything else different in these nav systems over the years other than cosmetic. Meaning are they upgrading the internal components to make the navigation or video faster or is it the same unit as in all of the 05/06/07 ford vehicles.

+1 Can't beat an AVIC with XM Navtraffic in a Stang. Now, I opted for the factory NAV in my new Expedition because so much is integrated into it. Ford actually did a great job with the execution of the NAV in the Expedition. I just wish I could have Navtraffic.
