2008 Mustang heater help required

My son has a 2008 Mustang he got a new stereo went to install didn’t have the right connectors and put the dash back together since the he has no power to the blower on any selection or the rear defrost

I looked at it today and am out of ideas here is what checked

removed dash again and checked all connections all is good both on selector switch and radio
connector attached to fan switch does not have any power
red wire connector does not seat securely in the plug but ensured it is fully in

checked fu 2,3,49,52,64,67 under hood
checked fu 8,10,12 passenger side

funny nothing else had happened and it seems like he has lost power to that particular connector behind the selector switch a everything worked prior

any tips or tricks to try would be greatly appreciated

Had the same thing happen. What worked for me was to disconnect the battery for a couple minutes. Everything started working again. Good luck.
