2007 Ford Mustang Owner's Manual.
Finally found a 2007 Ford Mustang Owner's Manual on Ebay. Won the bid at $27.00 USD. With shipping it comes to just over $40.00. Item is being shipped from Harrisburg, Penn.
I have always believed that a vehicle new or pre-owned should have an owner's manual in the glove box for easy reference. I have one in my 05 but there are slight differences between the 05 & 07 Model. When I had the 07 recently in for the airbag recall, service advised that many Ford dealers do not supply either a spare key or an owner's manual. The service clerk could not explain why. Me wonders if this is just a ploy (by some dealers) to get more cash out of owners to buy these items. And dealers wonder why the public do not trust them.
P.S. a brand new 2007 Owner's Manual is $60.00 USD plus shipping.

I always have mine as well. Many owners like having them. I picked up a 1980 Datsun 280Z owner's manual at the Charlotte Auto Fair for $2 knowing I could sell it on ebay for $20+. Sure enough, it sold for $25.
I get them even on my old collector cars too. Amazingly the original one came with my 1974 AMC Matador X.

Guess I offended a Ford Dealer in Northern Alberta when I made this post on cmoc.ca his view was that Ford Dealers are not required to supply extra keys or replace missing owner's manuals as doing so only adds to their cost. My response was that if the new owner has to replace these items it adds to their costs.

All vehicles ship from Ford with owner's manuals. The usual reason a car doesn't have one is the previous owner misplaced it or tossed it in the trash.
Dealers will replace them, but also have to pay for them. There is no reason they should take a loss when they replace them. They are a business, and are there to make a profit.

I sure wouldn't go back to a dealer either that gives grief about providing an owner's manual. How cheap can you get?
Not to get off-topic but we have our reservations made for the next province over. Taking our GT to Banff for 5 days and then 3 days at Glacier NP back in the states late this summer. It's been 20 years since we went on a combined BC/Alberta trip. Had to fly and rent a car back then. Such incredible beauty in Canada. Now if you could just get a team to win the Stanley Cup!

I would think it would be a liability nightmare to not include the owners manual in the car. It includes safety information and is a bible to the car. They should make you read it and sign a release if you don't.
Ah, ok - I did not realize you had purchased used from a dealer and the manual was missing - I get it now.
Some dealers it seems don't particularly care about stuff like that, I agree.

When I brought my used 2011 last year, I remarked that there was only 1 key and no owner's manual, and the salesman (he was the manager as well) made a point of finding a complete manual set (with the Sync supplement, tire info etc) and got the car to Ford to have a 2nd key reprogrammed, which was missing.
When I remarked how I was impressed that he volunteered to get me those he said "it's the cost of doing business...if we do that, then you'll recommend us to your friends and tell them you were treated right."
Nicest experience of buying a car I've had...and I've bought 3 new ones and 3 used before this Mustang.

I think if it were certified pre-owned you'd definitely get an extra key and manual. If it's not, then you're on your own unless you negotiate it. Not saying it's right, but it's fairly standard.
(As far as the manual, as mentioned, they are all available for free online).

That's great but I think the dealership in question would really have appreciated it if you had included their name in that post. lol

When I bought my '07 FX4 in August 2009 the dealer (Shelor Motor Mile / Ford) had one key and one remote, I told the salesman that night after the test drive what I'ld pay and that it included owner's manual packet and at least two correct keys and remotes. He said they had them in a file drawer .... but when I called the day I was going to pick it up and asked (I had a 65 mile one way drive after all), the lady (secretary?) told me they called the previous owner and that he had just that morning dropped the extra keys and remote and packet off and that it was all there.
And it was too ..... and when I am down that way to this day, I take time to drive through their lot looking because I'd do business with them again if they have something I want. I am sure he thought they had the stuff in a drawer, he was mistaken, but they rectified it ASAP.
I don't know if they bought him and his better part dinner or what .... but whatever they did, it was cheaper for them than what I would have taken off as I figure the value for that packet pretty high (couple or three hundred anyway 'cause I got my time to figure in too) .... and anymore there is a lot of stuff in there for my safety and convenience. Just changing a headlight and not breaking something will pay it back on some vehicles. The dealer was the entity that made the deal accepting the truck in on trade on whatever the PO bought and accepted it with just one key and one remote ... doesn't mean I should.
