I received this directly from the Mustang brand manager. This will be published in an updated order guide next week.
I specifically asked him to clarify as there wer so much confusion. He told me that these pictures were just finalized last week.

At least we know what 64E is now and how much they cost ($700-$800 invoice option including BFG tires). Gotta imagine those waiting for the 64W "premium" bullitt will be paying more than that!! Maybe the price list will be published as well when the updated order guide comes out?
IMO, the fanblades in person look much better than the photos on here. Can't wait for my Tungsten beauty!!

Post #1000....had to get it out of the way.

I told a friend of mine "well, we're expecting" and he thought my wife was pregnant... HA, nope, but we're gonna have a baby! At this point, I'll just be happy to see my baby come out with all four fingers and toes, er... wheels, no matter what they look like!

I agree with Chad, those 18" Bullits are nice. If I was to want those on my 05, are there suspension changes I should make as well? I read on this site how the 18" wheels will have a different susp. setup. Has anyone confirmed what exactly those are?

Mustang GT also enters the 2006 model year with two new 18-inch wheel and tire combinations – the largest tires ever fitted to a production V-8 Mustang since the 2000 SVT Cobra R model – and unique suspension tuning calibrated to the larger treads. Customers who order Mustang GT with the larger wheels and tires receive recalibrated shocks and struts to compensate for the unique handling characteristics of Mustang's shod with 18-inch rubber.

Just changed my order from 64W to 64E. I wanted the Bullitt all along, now I know the right code!

Double check your order (or your typing above). The Bullitt is 64W according to this thread.

I just changed my order back to the stock 17" bullits. I don't like the fanblades and don't want to wait for the bullits. Plus, I would rather have a 9 inch rim on the back and a little fatter tire, so going aftermarket makes sense.

Well I'm glad it's settled..The only bad part for me is i ordered so early6-6 thinking the blades were polished. went to change my order back to stock but dealer said stang was already in the chute. I would love to get aftermarket rims but that means i'm gonna take a loss on the blades.I don't do so well with wasting money..anyone know what i might get for these blades as a trade in??
do you think i could get $700-800 selling them myself??please help

Ed,do you mean the whole wheel is polised or just parts of it..When Amy posted the pics of the new pony with the blades, they were the ones that were only partly polished(the cented of the blades were silver:not polished). Her pics look just like the ones you and Brad posted...Anyways if they are all polished i will be one happy camper

If the blades are in fact painted and polished.. is there a way to have them all polished? or once they are painted am I stuck with em being painted?
just curious... I prefer the blades, personally.. I just want them all sparkley! =)

Seeing as how the 18" tires are going to have essentially the same OD as the 17", it seems if you want to go aftermarket with 18s, you may as well just get the stock 17-inchers. At least you'll know the speedometer will be pretty accurate anyway. Plus you can save $800 for the new wheels and tires you truely want.
I think that's a pretty feesable option at this point, especially for those who want Bullitts (and/or dislike the blades) but don't want to wait.

I'm thought you can change any option you want until it's actually pulled?

Normally you can make a few changes up to about 10-14 working days from the schedule date unless production is locked in. Also you can not switch to a controlled commodity or change body styles.
