Nice pics That's the biggest crowd I've seen around the Shelby yet. I only snapped a couple pics last night. The last of course being the White/Blue with the lights mostly off I'm still disappointed at the excuse for not opening the hood of the GT500... You'd think they would have wanted to show off the monster engine, that apparently "isn't finished"
Did you happen to notice that 5.9L Inline 6 Dodge had on display? I'm curious what they're going to put that monster in...

I missed the 5.9 inline 6. We took my 4 year old car nut son today and he was like a kid in a candy store. Needless to say I saw everything pretty quick and probably missed more than I had seen. The big crowds were around the Camaro concept...why I cannot figure out. Barely anyone around the Shelby or Challenger.

Pics don't do the Challenger justice...it is one beautiful machine, hope they don't screw it up when it finally goes into production. Overall though I'm still a Stang guy at heart!

Yeah, if the Challenger is 90% production it looks like it will be a great piece of machinery. I'm not diggin the Camaro either, but I am anxious to see some competition.

Man, there's very few around the shelby. In Chicago, I had to wait almost 20 minutes to get some clear shots of it. Those are some great shots though!

the camaro was there??? Guess you can safely say I must not be a bowtie guy...I seriously forgot about it, did want to check it out, but...really the camaro is not bad in my eyes, but the vee at the nose is too steep- looks like its smiling...flatten a bit, and it will be a better fit. and the camaro ought to have 'heritage' tailllights, not corvette like.
If anyone goes to the show, take a look at the air inlet in roof behind driver on the GT(40)...I was suprised at the fit/finish of the cutout- thought it was caked with wax at first, but no- just a bit rough...
the challenger looked to be plastic- no seams from rocker/fender/quarter, and really doubt they intend to build it like a 55 tbird. the taillight is very slick- a lucite bandthat just glows sorta from nowhere...very unique. was hoping it was more a 'almost production ready' piece, as it looks great, but afraid its even farther away than the mustang concept was, and as such *might* change a lot before production- any Chrysler execs out there- please take note at the positive comments in here in this 'ford forum'- the challenger looks great, please dont weiner around with it.

The white shelby is a sweet looker. I am going up to the cleveland show this coming tuesday and can't wait to see the shelby and the challenger. Interested in seeing the cammaro just hoping the pictures don't do it justice either but I do think it's a car in need of a lot of work. This is one concept that could use some changes. Did you get downstairs and get any pictures of the classics? I hear there is a 68 Gt there and I am looking to check that out as well.

The 5.9L Diesel is their standard Cummins they put in all the trucks. If it was regular gas engine, that's one big **** inline 6. Imagine the torque curve.

Nice those stripes on the shelby are they Sonic blue or Vista? Anyway Challenger looks pretty good IMO, but I really don't like the Camaro at all, just looks too much like a Vette from behind and the front has a weird smiling face look to me.
