I just picked up my new 2006 GT.


The car has the Premium package, Interior Upgrade Package and Sport Appearance Package.


Should Aluminum Pedal Covers have been included with this combination?

I know the Ford web site lists Aluminum Pedal Covers
with the SAP for 2007. But should I have it on my 2006?


If so, how do I prove to the dealer I should have had the covers?

 

I didn't think there was an SAP for the 06's. There is the sport IUP which includes leather on the steering wheel and shifter but you can't get that with the IUP. I confused as to exactly what option you have.

 

There was indeed an Interior Sport Appearance Package in 2006 although it was a different package than the SAP for 2007. The 06 ISAP was listed as including: "Leather-wrapped steering wheel w/satin aluminum spokes, satin aluminum-plated shifter lever w/automatic or bright shift **** w/manual transmission". The ISAP did not include the pedal covers that are in the 07 SAP and PTP packages.
