You would go around every turn at 5mph after you realize how much 19" tires cost.

Not too sure on that pic alone. We need more pics to make a better judgement

I really like the steeda rims on this car. Anyone have a guess on how much they will cost? Thanks!

Funny, those wheels are copies of SSR Integrals (the originals) which fizzled out of production back in '02, but have been knocked off by about a hundred companies...not very original for the '05 Steeda (these are true copies, everything is the same down to the five little holes between the lugs). I used to have them on my '00 BMW 328Ci a few years back. They are...uh..WERE..one of my favorites...

That is the standard Steeda ultralite that has been out for years. [/b][/quote]
Look familiar:

copy and paste in your browser, here is the real rim, apparently Steeda must get supplied from SSR, which would explain them call them the 'Ultralite' since these are forged and lightweight, unlike the copies

This is just a link to a set for sale that I found on the internet.

As for cost, I'm not sure what they cost from Steeda, but when they were still being produced and sold at Tire Rack, I paid around $300/each on sale, I think they were around $360/each retail...don't remember exactly. I'd expect to pay around $1200 to $1800 for a set from Steeda. I'm sure they are on their site already if they've been around for years at Steeda.

Josh

It's by far the best of the mods I have seen so far. I'm not sold on the hood or spoiler but the other effects are quite well done. Aggressive but not gaudy... As far as the wheels, eh...I can't see how anybody could like aluminum wheels... I have to go with "Chrome to bring it home everytime.. (cragar ss's for me...yep, nostalgic still rules..) B) B)

I think the problem is that you are trying to take modern looking wheels and fit them on a retro looking car. Every set of wheels ive seen so far ends up making it look like one of those "G-Machine" restorations in Hot Rod Magazine. I happen to like that look, but i could see how some of you "nostalgics" would hate it. I think the FR500 rims in 19 inch would look sick on this car. But i dont think they make them in this bolt pattern.
FR500s would rock on this car, one of the nicest styled wheels ever made.

That seems really reasonable. Are they decent quality?

I also put these on a different thread, but here's Ford Motorsport's latest.... as far as the FR500 wheels go.... in the '04 catalog. I think they'd look pretty slick on a meneral grey

285/35-18's are too short. That's about the same height as the current Mustangs and will look silly on the '05.
