I'm sure the spoiler is effective at speed if it's adjustable, however, I'm not buying the car to go 160mph down the roadway or on the track. I want it to look good on the street. I'm sure it has it's merits for serious track enthusiasts...and for that purpose it's great.

I'd like to see some aftermarket suppliers produce some Shelby-esque style parts, hood, front bumper, qtr window treatments, rear decklid/spoiler, etc. I'm sure it'll be a matter of time.

I'm in the process of building a 'Pro-Touring' 1969 Camaro, with a look like 'Eleanor', only a Chevy. I am stopping this foolishness because it's too darn expensive to make an old car new, and you have to be half crazy. I'm only 1/3rd crazy. I decided I'd rather build a new car ('05 GT) that looks old. I get a kick out of old Musclecars, but owning one is slightly less reasonable. When this car debuted, I saw the concept and fell in love with the idea, my idea the day I saw it, which I'm sure is a thousand other peoples idea as well, to bring back that Musclecar look and feel and sound, but with EFI, traction control, overdrive, a/c, stereo, etc. and not spend $80K and 3 years to do it.

I hope all the concepts of the tuners make their debut, because the more, the merrier, and something for everyone. I like to mix and match ideas, so I'm sure not one tuner will have EVERYTHING that I desire, but between them all, it's a good start.

I like it, not overdone. I think it will take a while to figure what appearance mods look acceptable, and what looks like rice. With the new mustang (and the retro style), I think less is better.

I'd rather have a Steeda logo in place of the GT logo on the side and lose the decals all over. Give it a cleaner look. The "towel rack" is a tad ricer but would like to see it at a different angle. As for wheels. I'll add a picture of what I think would look nice.

Ignore the goofy cross drilled dust covers. These are Boyd Coddington wheels and I think they would look good on the new car. My humble opinion.

Just food for thought for ya. I had those same wheels on my 00gt except they were chrome. I highly doubt those will be the wheels that they will come with since steeda has come out with a new style since then. Who knows that maybe the wheel. I would say throw some bbs rk plasmas on there would look pimp.

Now that you mention it, I may have seen that wheel on a Mustang before, was it Steeda that used it back then?

Mine were fully polished, special edition. Mostly SSR was used for BMW's back in the day, but many people use their lightweight competition wheels. Mine weighed around 18lbs for 18x8. The knock-offs weigh considerably more because they are cast not forged.

Steeda may have used SSR for their wheel supplier, which would be cool. They are a wicked wheel in the wider widths. I just didn't like the lack of 'lip' on them. The newer SSR GT3 is the shiznit. But maybe too modern for the '05 IMHO.

PS, when I get a pic downloaded, I'll post it of my Steel Gray 328 Coupe with the polished SSR's, it might give some guys an idea of what the '05 would look like with 5 spoke wheels like what Steeda is showing above on a Mineral Gray car...it's a pretty awesome color combo, chrome/polished and dark grays.

Are the hood pins really necessary? Other than that, it looks pretty sporty, and the wing is only 10% ricey.

I think hood pins came factory on a number of Mustangs in the late 60's, or maybe it was just the Shelby cars...but I'm thinking maybe on Mach 1's or Boss 302's as well. Not sure, but kinda cool in that respect, paying homage to the inspiring models.

at least its better than the roush by a mile. Im only interested in what it can do in the track, and what numbers it will lay on everything compared to Ford's GT

At least they are 18's. Gives me another option. Plus, they are down the street from me/steve. 19's are too big for me. 285 would look yummy.

Actually upon further review the FR500's only come in 18 inch, but still, they would look sick. You can get them in Black, and Chrome too.
