2005 Roush Mustang Unveiled
I seriously doubt that this will be what the Roush mustang will look like. Although it may have some similarities the photo shop is nothing that would come from Roush. As listed the Roush mustang will not have exhaust tips at the end of the side skirts, and the picture clearly shows that. So I think we shall all wait till SEMA to see what Roush will actually produce as their mustang.
Give it time to grow on you... I will hold judgement until I see it in person.
Heck with the bullet mirrors on the Stage 2 & louvers on the side windows -it's not a bad start. I think the duck tail may need some thickening, but I like it from the front view...
If they smooth out the front bumper a bit -kinda like what is on the current cars, and find an attractive way to have the rear exhaust exit out of the rear bumper cutouts -they will have a winner

Oh my gosh! That is HIDEOUS. Roush is gonna lose a ton of money. Not that he was making any on the Stage III's anymore. He might as well just pull out of custom cars and focus on NASCAR. This design stinks.
I think they over did it.
Wheels: Look good, just need to loose the extra 5 holes.
Front: Ugly like a *****. Needs redesign.
Hood scoop: It's crap. I was hoping for something more along the lines of the Boss 429's scoop.
Louvers: Gotta go.
Side Skirts: They're ok.
Rear: Needs redesign.
Wing: Needs to be fixed too.
Side Exhaust: I wish it could happen.
Overall, this car is crap.

That's the shot that started the first 12 pages of this thread...........
The 99-04 Roush Mustangs have always looked good in my opinion. I will hold off on any actual comments until I see the car itself, but going by this poorly done photochop, they are heading in the wrong direction. just my .02
You can clearly see the similarities between the 99-04 design and the new shopped version. I think the picture is ugly as heck, but I have to think that there is NO way that car would be produced. The dimensions of that photoshop are way off.
Give Roush a little credit here. I think the car in person will be far better than that ugly picture. But the hood scoop should be functional.
Doesn't that stock intake BEG for a ram air hood? Take that 90 degree curve out and get cooking!
Wait and see it in person. Then slam the guy.
But it was pretty tasteless to throw that pic on the Roush homepage. They have had the cars to work on for a long time. Ford is the featured car at SEMA, you know there will be a whole bunch of stuff there for the new Stang.

A VERY poorly executed photoshop promoting roush, you would figure they have enough money to pay a decent photoshopper to put up pictures of the car.

I think the 350Z is a beautiful thing and not the 2005 Mustang, it's just retro and copied from past cues, not that that's a bad thing or anything...?

The picture is crap. They'll need to get some thing better up. Right now I hate Roush. The 2005 Mustang is a beautiful thing and Roush $%&#ed it up. Sad sad sad

but i'll get over it once i get the radio cranked back up.
lol.
I think it just looks bad because of the color and the way it's chopped. I'm sure if it was a live version it would look a lot different. This may be what is turning you guys off, besides why would Roush unveil theirs on a website, rather then when everybody else is unveiling there's-- at SEMA
Well, almost everybody.
Well, almost everybody.
well maybe at sema it will look a lot better in the paint, once in a while you see pictures of elle mcpherson and she just don't look good - and others make you want to win the lottery just to find her and propose....hopefully the real car looks good

Bt you are right, I have seen a bad picture or two. But then again, that pretty much goes for anyone.
Well, I'm sure the folks at Roush are taking notes. This little pic they released may indeed turn out to be a great way to test the public's reaction to a particular design philosophy with out spending a fortune on it. I'll wait to see what they actually do before casting them into the dustbin.
