I want to know:
What is Aberdeen? I am going with legend lime exterior sport and interior upgrade+spoiler(ugh spoiler delete not an option on the coupe), the int. upgrade says: Dark Charcoal aberdeen pattern door inserts. I am getting graphite interior- I dont want to be mismatched!
The dark charcoal aberdeen pattern door inserts can be seen in this picture. If you get the IUP, you get these charcoal colored door inserts (they are red on the color accent package). They will be a contrasting color to a medium parchment and graphite interior, and will obviously be a matching color for the charcoal interior. Your interior should look like this (plus or minus a manual or auto tranny).

the V6 spinners may not fit on the GT, because of the larger brakes...however, the GT wheels should easily fit on the v6.
Yeah, the 16's won't fit over the (front) brakes, but there are a couple other issues, even if they did:

1) The front and rear track is narrower on the GT (than on the V6) to accommodate the wider 17x8 rims. 16x7 rims would look bad set back in those big wheel wells.

2) 300 hp would seriously overpower 215/65-R16 tires. That would take us back to '69 in a way that would not be good.

Putting GT wheels on the V6... Even if the bolt pattern matches, you'll need a different offset, or they're going to stick out past the edge of the fenders because of the wider track. It might mess up the front suspension geometry (camber) too.

So does this mean you will be able to get RED Interior, with a Silver Car?

Well I'm inclined to believe the second set of numbers myself.

Maximum torque at 5000-5400 rpm seems way too high for 2v and 3v engines. That's got to be a misprint. I've got a Honda VTEC that produces maximum torque at 5000 rpm, and let me tell you, you've got to put your foot ALL THE WAY IN to get to it.

Yes. The only exterior colors that the red interior will not be available with are: Screaming Yellow, Sonic Blue, Windveil Blue and Legend Lime.

I guess Ford doesn't want ugly colour combo stangs running around.

Legend Lime + red = (I hope no one wanted that)

Ha ha ha ha! That combo was at the top of my list until I found out they're not offering it. I can't understand why they wouldn't. :scratch: Just Kidding.

I don't know the answer to your questions, but, I am glad to hear you finally made a decision (I think). Sounds like it will be a beautiful car. If you really don't want the spoiler, don't get the sport package. You can add the stripe later (although I think the stripe is necessary on the lime and the spoiler looks good with it)
Locked in stone- no going back now. LL, graphite, IUP,Exterior upgrade+ Spoiler-white stripe,Shaker 500, possibly XM(I am being told they may be able to do this as opposed to are you sirius), spinner wheels, and the all important manual.

Now does anyone know of a dart swinger for sale? Great trade off there

No XM unless they go aftermarket.

XM = GM
Sirius = Ford

Im not a fan of too many yellow cars, but i think yellow with red interior looks good. Friend of mine, has one of the rare, c4 vettes, with red interior. Looks sharp!

I agree. Some cars can pull off a yellow ext and a red int. The mustang could be one since it has a lot of black on the int to compliment the yellow. I'd have to see the combo to make final judgement though.

So, for sure Monday? Wow, I am so excited?

Brad, is it safe to say on Monday they will have the pricing.

Will any dealers pull the same, "You can't order it for a few months" or do you think they will finally know about it.

I told you they would have a spoiler delete option.

Aberdeen is name of diamond shaped perforation on door trim inserts.

16" wheels will not fit over GT brake calipers. B)

The 2nd set of #'s (last page) have to be the correct #'s.

HP = (torque * RPM) / 5250

If you plug the #'s in, the ones on the last page make sense and the first #'s do not.

Also, there is no way the V8 will have peak torque @ 5400 RPM (it would work out to 330 HP if it did).

You can order it RIGHT NOW.

No, you will not get pricing any time soon.

Most dealers have been emailed the order guide, so they should know.

Thanks!!!
I went to a local dealer yesterday and the guy was stumbling over his words. I told him I wanted to order one and when could I do that. The manager was like, "Well we will be getting them in September." I told him I wanted to ORDER one and he was like, "Oh, well maybe in June you can do that." I swear I knew more about the '05 then they did! So thanks again for the information! :-)

Are you sure about this? Torque and HP curves always cross at 5252 rpm, but I can't get your equation to work out.
