I'm a little disappointed that there's no option to put 17s on the V6. I like the wheels with the spinner and all, but I had my heart set on the Bullitts.
I was thinking the same thing... except I like the dark colored bullits...

Are those all silver ones on the stock GT, or the dark ones?

If its not an option, probably not...

Unless you trade rims with someone, or a dealer will.

Trade your bullits with me?... heh. If they fit on the V6...

I'm pretty sure they're the dark ones. I like the dark ones better too.

What is the difference between the "standard 4 gauge instrument cluster" and the "bright polished 6 gauge cluster w/ mycolor and message center"?? I know what mycolor is and the chrome, but do you get more instrumentation when you get the interior upgrade package?

I was going to get the bright aluminum wheel option on my GT, but after seeing them in the order guide I like the cast aluminum style better. It reminds me of the old cragar mags. Maybe I'll just get them chromed myself.

the V6 spinners may not fit on the GT, because of the larger brakes...however, the GT wheels should easily fit on the v6...I'm going to get aftermarket wheels, and I got the Bullitts...when the cars come in, maybe I'll sell them to someone...

78Mach1 the standard cluster is 4 guages (speedo, tach, fuel, temp). With the IUP you get the other two guages (Battery, Oil). Hope this helps clear things up.

Later,

I just did a spec out on my 05, I am going in Monday to put the order in..

I want to know:
What is Aberdeen? I am going with legend lime exterior sport and interior upgrade+spoiler(ugh spoiler delete not an option on the coupe), the int. upgrade says: Dark Charcoal aberdeen pattern door inserts. I am getting graphite interior- I dont want to be mismatched!

Also: Can someone verify or debunk this:
Every ford dealer is getting an allocated amount of 05s on job 1. If you don't preorder yours, you wont get up and running till around January? My ford dealer has been allocated ten. I want to know if I am being Bsed?

I don't know the answer to your questions, but, I am glad to hear you finally made a decision (I think). Sounds like it will be a beautiful car. If you really don't want the spoiler, don't get the sport package. You can add the stripe later (although I think the stripe is necessary on the lime and the spoiler looks good with it)

Yes every dealer will get a few. It is impossible to know how quickly a set at a certain dealer will sell. However, they will probably go pretty quick. However, they have not been allocated yet. So when your dealer says he will get ten, he is lying. No one knows how many they will get yet.

Thats because you won't be able to order a vert for quite a while. They haven't even shown the production version of the vert yet. Its going to be a long time before you can order one.

I'm hoping the 18" wheels will be available as an option then. Titanium color paint unfortunately won't.

That means I'll have to keep reading this board until then...
