Yeah. I got it new with only 22 miles on it & already I have had 6 rear main seals, 4 weather stripping seals, the hood has been repainted, & just today I had to have a new thermastat put in. And the car doesn't even have 13000 miles on it yet.

Kera,
So sorry you're having a rough go of it, it's never fun when this stuff happens. I just dumped my '03 Mazda 6s because there is an obvious clutch issue with them. I had to have a new clutch at 6,688 miles because it chattered so badly when the temp was cool the entire dash shook. They replaced it (took a week) and at 14,222 it started chattering again with the new one. Dumped the car, I'm not going to be diddlin with those kinds of massive issues. Quite sad too because for the money, the 6 was a nice car. But of couse, not when it consumes a clutch every 6,000 miles. I've seen some six boards with people complaining about the clutch, but Mazda hasn't come clean with any official word on it. It's in my past now. I'm looking ahead to the '05.
I hope things get better for you and your 6 pin.

Thanks so much. I can't wait for my 05. I ordered last week & my dealer said it should be about 4 weeks. So, I am trying to hold on & keep this car in 1 piece till it get here.
Sorry to hear about your Mazda too. I was actually considering getting a Mazda while I was shopping around with my 96 as a trade in.

Now this could be good news. Care to elaborate???
Funny enough 6 'unordered' V6's just popped up on our inventory screens today showing 'in transit' status.

Doesn't sound like the 05's are in Memphis. I know mines not in Ohio where i am.
I know it doesn't do much good to complain, but I do need to vent. My Mustang was produced on 9/8/04 and shipping status is still TBD. I recall Ford saying the Mustangs would be at dealerships on Sept 29th. I figured I was a shoe in for a Sept 29th delivery, but here it is Oct and my salesman told me yesterday that it could be November. That doesn't leave much driving time living in Ohio. I'm not sure who, but I need to kick somebody in the ding ding. :bang:

Has anyone here ordered a car before? I ordered my 98 GT in May, it was built in July and didn't arrive until August, about one month for delivery. I think its a little unrealistic to think it will ship and arrive at the dealer in one week. The majority of the cars are shipped by rail and when they arrive at the train yard where they unload them, they can sit there for at least another week before it gets loaded onto a truck to be shipped to the local dealers. I know it doesn't make sense but my car sat at the yard for a week and a half before it arrived at the dealership. So for those of you who have had your car built the first week or so of Sep. expect it to arrive mid October or so especially if they are just now starting to ship these out.

No I was not alreay on order. But my current car is a sort of lemon, and Ford had agreeded to take it back & give me another car through the lemon law thing. And since it's a Ford buy back the salsman that I have been talking to & the GM said that when they got the order # they could call & have it bumped up. I ordered on a Wed & they got the # & called the following Monday. So the salesman said that his GM had called & they would move it to the front of the line & it should be about 4 weeks. But that's not definet it's just his guess.
