Has anyone had opportunity to check out rear headroom in the vert with top up? I would imagine it is substantially better than the coupe. How are other rear seat proportions compared to the coupe?? How does the inside of the top appear when viewed inside the closed car? Does it seem to be a tight and well finished job?????

I'm going to agree with the naysayers on this one. The Mustang completely loses its styling edge by hacking off the fastback roofline. It just looks like a blocky convertible instead of something special. Just my .02...

i agree i think it takes away from the new/old look that they got oh so right, nothing wrong with the vert though just doesn't have that retro look IMO

I definitely feel it loses something too - not MY cup of tea but not bad really...

Alhtough just saw the pictures of the screaming yellow with the Bullitts - now THAT looks 10 times better than the torch red one for some reason....

Hott!!!

Those fixed anntenas make it a pita to use a car cover..
I just unscrew it and put the cover on, then reverse in the morning...

Did that with my 88 for years - really only takes an extra 10 seconds tops....

My thoughts exactly. I think the rear quarter windows add so much to the retro look. The vert just doesn't look as mean. Now if they came out with a removeable hard-top, I might be interested.

BTW, I don't know what color combos are being offered, but there's a red car w/a white top here in town, and I don't think it looks very attractive. The white detracts from the car. Black and tan seem like better options for a vert top color.

There are no fanblades availiable either...that doesn't mean that they aren't out there though! Could be an '06...I wonder what the interior looks like....perhaps like ICAP with white instead of red. That'd be so pimp!

How are you folks getting build dates on Verts? I ordered mine on December 10, and have no update on any build date.
