Bone stock S197 GT's run mid 13's in the 1/4 mile; that's plenty respectable. Sure, boosting is fun, but bone stock they are no dogs.

2009 base V6 coupe is $6,300 less MSRP than a 2009 base GT coupe. Not sure where you got that $10K figure from. Keep in mind that you get better brakes, bigger wheels & tires, better suspension, 8.8" traction-lok axle, etc. - not just more engine.

I can never understand how you can make such comments whether it be about V6 guys or GT guys. What’s the difference? Get a life!
